EPC stands for Energy Performance Certificate,  an EPC certificate is required when you are selling or planning to rent out your property and is valid for 10 years once completed.

An EPC gives your property an Energy efficiency rating from A to G,  A rating is the best achievable and G is the lowest rating.

Your EPC survey will also contain information on the property’s energy usage costs and recommendations for improvements to reduce your costs on energy.

An EPC  is a detailed assessment carried by a qualified assessor, the assessor will require full access to your property to carry out a full survey which normally take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the property.
